Alexa

Meet our teachers

Alexa is a 3rd generation classical Pilates teacher and has been a teacher in the fitness industry since 2003. She found her start as an Aerobics instructor, Personal Trainer and Yoga teacher before finding Pilates. She was first introduced to Pilates by a colleague at the gym. In that first session her chronic knee pain went away, and she was hooked on the Pilates method.

She decided to get certified so that she could share this method with as many others as possible. Alexa completed her comprehensive training with 2nd generation teacher Joel Crosby and continues her education by attending sessions and workshops with senior teachers like Blossom Crawford, Jay Grimes, Els Lobedy and Cynthia Shipley.

“As a teacher I believe that everybody is unique and love the focus that Classical Pilates places on finding what works best for the individual body”.
