Overview

What is infrared sauna therapy?

An infrared sauna uses infrared heaters to produce radiant heat that warms your body directly, rather than relying mainly on heating the air around you. The result is a deep, gentle warmth at a lower air temperature than a traditional sauna.

Many people use an infrared sauna simply to relax, enjoy the warmth, and take quiet time for themselves as part of a general wellness routine.

Red Light Feature

Built-in red light, explained

Our infrared sauna includes built-in red lights that glow during your session and add to a calm, restorative atmosphere.

This sauna feature is not a substitute for our dedicated TheraLight 360+ bed. The full-body bed is purpose-built to deliver red and near-infrared light to the whole body and is offered as its own service. The sauna’s lights are not designed to provide the same treatment or dosage.

Safety & hydration

Stay comfortable and hydrated

  • Drink water before, during, and after your session.
  • Avoid alcohol before and after a sauna session.
  • Leave the sauna right away if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, nauseated, or unwell.
  • Start with a shorter session if you are new to saunas.

Talk with your doctor first if:

  • You are pregnant or may be pregnant
  • You have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, or a history of fainting
  • You take medications that affect heart rate, blood pressure, or sweating
  • You have any medical condition and are unsure whether heat exposure is appropriate

FAQs

Infrared sauna questions

Is the sauna’s red light the same as your TheraLight 360+ bed?

No. The red light built into the sauna is a feature of the sauna experience. It is not designed to deliver the same treatment or dosage as our dedicated TheraLight 360+ full-body red light bed, which is a separate service.

How hot does the infrared sauna get?

Infrared saunas usually run at a lower air temperature than traditional saunas, because the infrared heaters warm your body directly. Our team can adjust the temperature for your comfort.

How long is a sauna session?

Session length is confirmed when you book. If you are new to saunas, start with a shorter session and build up gradually.

What should I bring?

Bring a water bottle and comfortable clothes to change into afterward. Towels are provided.

Does an infrared sauna help with detox or weight loss?

We do not offer the sauna as a detox or weight-loss treatment. Weight lost from sweating is water, which returns when you rehydrate. If weight management is your goal, ask about our ChiroThin program.

Can I combine the sauna with red light therapy?

Many clients enjoy both. Ask our team about scheduling a sauna session and a TheraLight 360+ red light session on the same visit.
